Sibiraj goes for a re-invention

Sibiraj son of veteran actor Sathyaraj has decided to re-invent himself as a villain in his new film where he shares screen space with good friend Prasanna in a film titled Nanayam, which has just completed about 15 days shoot.

Remember that Sibi’s dad also entered the Tamil film industry as a stylish villain, who mouthed punch dialogues in films like Nooravathu Naal and Khakki Sattai among many other films.

Sibi who came into the industry after being launched by his dad in Student No1 had later given a very good performance in films like Lee. But sadly he never got accepted and the characters just did not work with the viewers.

In Nanayam, a stylish entertainer about a bank robbery has Sibi and Prasanna play lead roles with Ragini who is the heroine. James Vasanth, after the mega success of Subramaniapuram, is scoring music.

Interestingly, Prasanna who is Sibi’s close buddy had done a similar role in Anjathey and he gave him all the confidence to play the baddie in Nanayam. Om Prakash the ad film maker is the cinematographer. The film, produced by SPB Charan’s Capital Film Works.
