Office bearers of the Tamil Film Directors' Association were introduced at a grand function that was held on the first of January. The function proved to be a big one for scores of directors, their associates and assistants. K. Balachander while speaking on the occasion made it a point to call A. R. Murugadas on stage to appreciate him.
A. R. Murugadas's 'Ghajini' starring Aamir Khan and Asin has reportedly grossed over a crore of rupees in its opening week. The man behind this incredible feat, A. R. Murugadoss, came on to stage amidst tremendous applause.
It sure must have been a moment to cherish for A. R. Murugadas when K. Balachander saluted him and said 'hats off'.
