The Dhanush starrer, Padikkadhavan (also referred to as Padikkaathavan), another film that takes its title from a Rajini classic, is all set to release its audio this week. Think Music has the digital music rights for Padikkaathavan.
Like director Suraaj's previous ventures Thalainagaram and Marudhamalai, Padikkaathavan will have loads of laughter in the first half and plenty of action in the second half. This ace director is very keen on giving maximum entertainment to his audience. Vivek, who replaced Vadivelu as the star comedian just recently, has dreamed up some classic comedy sequences to keep the audiences laughing throughout.

This film is unique simply because Dhanush who has steered clear of casting star comedians in his movies, has finally given in to popular opinion and cast one of leading comedians of contemporary Tamil film industry.
Padikkaathavan also stars veteran actors Prathap Pothan, Sayaji Shinde and Suman.
