K. Bhagyaraj’s rerecording with Sonoton

With Tamil Cinema witnessing changing phase in all aspects, Sonoton Music Library has been having its impact. Right now, K. Bhagyaraj has geared up with pioneering works on blending his innovative presentation with the pre-recorded live music of different genres. Yup! K. Bhagyaraj is known as the versatile personality in penning stupendous screenplay in such a way that’s entertaining and with great impact.

At present, he has completed shooting for his directorial ‘Pudhiya Varpugal’ featuring his Santhanu in lead role. Being completed with shooting works, both father and son are cool working on re-recording works. How can they be so cool during the crucial time of post production works? It’s so simple as they wouldn’t be having music directors straining themselves in studio tuning more and more melodies for background score. They have geared up with Sonoton Music Library.

Now, it’s Lekha Sonoton who has been working on for the entire film. As we happened to catch up with them while recording for scores, we could get some bites regarding this from Bhagyaraj.

Speaking on this, Bhagyaraj said that earlier he had some misconceptions that it was something that wouldn’t match exactly for the film. But now after glimpsing through hundreds and hundreds of tunes, he’s really awestruck with.

Though the film has duo musicians Dharan and Thaman scoring music for the songs, the entire background score has been adapted from the Library as the director felt it is cost effective and process is so easy.
